Best comfort food ever, just try not to eat a ton of the bread before your meal comes. Good luck on that
Love going to this original location. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. I like that they have not updated the inside like newer NYAJ.
Excellent! I always make note of how a restaurant treats folks waiting for a table— and NYAJ’s passes with flying colors. We were able to get a table ahead of our reservation on a Friday night.... still had time for a drink and some delicious complimentary flatbread during a short wait. Bar staff was great. The Parmesan garlic dip and fresh bread were the best I’ve ever had. Our server was wonderful and made great recommendations. The pork chop is HUGE and perfectly cooked, as were the steaks. Vegetables were rich and flavorful. Risotto and couscous succotash were delightful. We’ll be back.
Good food. Always seem to run out of oysters on Monday $1 per oyster day.
