Great place for beach and cookout areas just make sure to bring water shoe's beach is rocky but you can walk to the sand bars in the water.
Beach itself is very rocky but good for a swim ...is just rocks.

Shallow water with tons of rocks on the beach. Not a great place to sunbathe or swim, but wonderful if you have small children or enjoy beach combing. We've found all kinds of neat stuff here: whelk shells, mermaids purses, fossils, etc. If you get there at the right time, you can walk out to the sandbar and set up chairs to dunk your feet in. Keep an eye out for the grapes growing wild nearby in the summertime.
If you’re going during these seasons the gate is closed which means you will park at the front gate.
A fantastic Beach particularly When the tide is low. You can walk out into the water for nearly half a mile. There are some rocky areas, but you can find sand as well, past the Rocks is all sand out into the ocean.
Has facilities, not fancy. Especially good at low tide. Nice sandbars.
