2 major things wrong with this: 1) I just purchased a $90.00 Item and was never told it never got delivered. If I hadn't asked the family I would have paid $90.00 for a basket that was never delivered. 2) The woman told me the only thing she could do was waive the delivery fee... Words can not express how annoyed I am with this type of business practice.
I called to have a sympathy basket delivered on the day of a wake - I was ensured they were going to not only drop it that morning, but if there was no one home they were going to go above and beyond by touching base with a neighbor to leave it with. ( This way we could ensure the basket get to the family the day of and no later.) I run into the family we had purchased the basket for and asked about it and he said they never received it. So I call back the Dartmouth store to deal with the situation and the customer service rep who answered the phone asked to call me back. Upon a call back from another woman, I got "sorry this was supposed to be delivered by our Fall River Store but it never got delivered - we will deliver it today." I replied with well I ordered it from your store and your rep told me you delivered to Westport. The woman replied with yeah sometimes our seasonal help doesn't give the correct information..
Fairly pricey but arrangements are usually good.
I recently worked for this company during the valentine season, i witnessed "managers" blame each other for mistakes, never mind constantly condescending employees. I have never in my life worked for such an unorganized company it was disturbing. No body knew who their boss was during the holiday, people were working shifts with no scheduled end times, absolutely horrendous. I was hired as a fruit expert and during the holiday i was asked to be a delivery driver with my own vehicle. when i was told i would be reimbursed for my mileage, i complied. After the 10 hour shift was over, they had me write my hours and mileage on a sticky note, which was obviously lost and i was NOT payed for the holiday. I wish luck to anyone who purchases or works for this company. These baskets are over priced and you can make these things at home with simply tools for less than $20
When you order through this company I would check with the recipients to make sure they received your thoughtful gifts Or find another arrangement store to purchase from.
I usually try to wrote a positive review on a company because the only reviews company's receive are negative ones.... However I am very disappointed in my experience with the Dartmouth Store.
Great on their promises very good fruit baskets a little pricey but it's fresh fruit plus delivery and someone actually hand makes it you can even personalize it.
