A bit of a line but it moved fast. Cider is great, cafe latte is great, and the mammoth sized wicked chocolate chip cookie was delicious. Didn't try the food, next time. Great cafe, cheers!
Please BEWARE there are SPECFIC lines for SPECIFIC food and drink items. I ordered a bagel and hot chocolate. Upon completing my order I was told you CANNOT purchase hot chocolate in this line. "This is an express line" ! The thing is it was quite busy. The "other line" had 20 to 25 people waiting to order. Quite confusing?... Anyway, I ate my bagel without anything to drink. I'm not sure if I would ever dare to go back after my first unsettling visit.
The Chippi is my favorite. An energy boost that tastes like a coffee frappe. Yum.
Really want to love this place. It's a little coffee/sandwich/cafe shop that does serve up good food and drinks but is a little too big for it's briches. Trying to serve up a large chippy for $7 because it has no ice? What? Hey, if people are going to pay it then by all means, but to me it's taking advantage of the local popularity of this place. Be humble for the success you've had and keep prices reasonable.
Amazing coffee. Great food. Problem is the unpleasant staff that work out front. Fourth time here, and every time, the people working immediately behind the counter appear bored, annoyed and apparently do know how or cannot smile. Be appreciative you have a job. Be kind. Smile. I will come for the good and coffee, but definitely not for any warm fuzzies.
